✨ Hi! Please say a couple of words about yourself!

Hello everyone! I'm Melmel, nice to meet you!

I'm a big Creighton fan, and my hobby is drawing ^^ I'm honored to be part of this interview! Thank you for making it happen!

✨ Thank you! It's really nice to meet you. Let's begin our interview! How did you start playing Cooking Diary?

I started playing Cooking Diary during the pandemic—I was quarantining at home and didn't have much to do, so I was on the prowl for a smartphone game that could grab my attention.

✨ What is it in the game that you like the most? Why?

The thing I like most in this game is that you can dress up your avatar in any way you want! I just love watching my character running around the kitchen in a cute outfit. And it's not just their clothes you can change, it's their face too: it's great!

✨ Tell me about your favorite character! What would you do if you met him in real life?

My favorite character's Creighton, obviously!!!

I've been a fan since the moment he was introduced in the storyline, haha! I like everything about him, but I really love his personality, so every time he appears in a cutscene, I just go wild!

If I met him in real life, I'd... I think I'd be beaming with joy and propose to him on the spot, but... truth be told, I'd probably have a heart attack and collapse from an excitement overdose...

✨ What's the last district you unlocked? Now, this is the hard one: Do you play to get higher scores or to explore the plot of the game? 😉

Right now I'm in the San Sandwich district.

Hmm, I think the answer is honestly neither, I just like spending time replaying my favorite stages. There are so many restaurants with cute and delicious-looking dishes in the game, so I tend to stay and play around a lot in restaurants that serve food I'd like to eat myself, hehe. 

✨ So cool! Let’s talk about your artworks. They are absolutely amazing! How and when did you start drawing?

I’m so glad you like them! Thank you for your kind words!

I’ve been in love with drawing since childhood and was doing it pretty often, but only started making proper artwork after I began playing Cooking Diary.

I wanted to draw cool Creighton pictures so much, I was drawing at every opportunity I had!

✨ What usually inspires you for your next masterpiece?

I always listen to music while drawing, and a lot of the time I take inspiration from the track’s atmosphere or lyrics.

That’s why I always listen to the same song on repeat until I finish the picture, haha!

✨ Please describe your favorite artwork! Why do you love it so much?

My favorite? I’d say it’s the one I made for Halloween! I think it’s my best one so far.

I usually draw Creighton with a grin on his face, but sometimes he’s cute when he’s scared 🙂

Oh, who am I kidding, The King’s always the cutest...
